Pictures.....my love!!!

This week my amazing friend (www.divine-betrothal.blogspot.com) gave me the link to view her wedding pictures. I absolutely love pictures, and I was in the wedding. I will post a few on my blog for you to see.

...but wait on the Lord,...

This morning as I was reading in Proverbs I read Proverbs 20:22 which says, " Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the Lord, and He shall save thee."
I was thinking how hard it is to wait on the Lord. At this point in my life I am doing a lot of waiting on Him. Although we know that we should wait and that if we do it will be completely worth it in the end, it is still VERY hard not to just step out on our own and do what we want. The greatest times, spiritually, in my life have been while I was waiting on God. As I wait, I seek Him in ways I don't normally while I am living my everyday life, content with all that is going on. I pray that I would not get ahead of Him, so I can be in his perfect will every day.

Isaiah 40:31 "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength ; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint."

New Blog

I am not sure exactly how this blog will end up. As my first post it isn't exciting yet, but hopefully it will be something interesting when I get the hang of it. I will be posting more soon.
